Who are site selectors?
Site selectors are connected to a global network of Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies. The selectors are skilled professionals who leverage their expertise in market research, analysis, and strategic decision-making to help organizations identify and secure optimal locations for business headquarters, operations and investments. These location consultants provide valuable insights to business and civic leaders on how to prepare communities for long-term economic prosperity.
What is the All Ready Here Site Selector Conference?
All Ready Here is both a location promotional and an educational opportunity. Site Selectors visit and tour Long Beach to see and experience the workforce capabilities, infrastructure available properties, community assets and amenities, and overall business climate for a particular target industry or industries. Based on this field inspection, as well as deep project and community knowledge, the Site Selectors provide valuable feedback and recommendations as to how Long Beach can become more competitive and effective in its business attraction and economic development efforts.
What happens at All Ready Here?
The Forum begins with an introductory dinner and overview on evening one, followed by a full day of touring, field inspections, meetings, and a working dinner.
It culminates the next day with a panel briefing to discuss findings, conclusions, and recommendations on how to become more competitive for business investment.
In addition, you’ll learn how business location decisions are made and what leading economic development groups are doing to attract business investment.

Why our City, why now?
When you think of Long Beach, it may conjure images of palm trees and turquoise seas, but it’s so much more. Long Beach is also a dynamic, culturally diverse city boasting a business-friendly environment, strong infrastructure, proximity to one the world’s largest sea ports, and an emerging hub for the aerospace industry. And for those interested in investing, it offers access to coastal development opportunities virtually unprecedented in the state of California.
Now, with a business-friendly city administration, burgeoning tech scene, an expanding aviation and aerospace industry, and unprecedented coastal development opportunities, Long Beach is truly open for business.
There’s never been a better time to put Long Beach on the map with location specialists, expressing our unique identity as a dynamic, future-focused city by the beach. Long Beach will always maintain the laid-back feel of a California beach town, but with strong government leadership, growth in key future-focused industries, and a diverse, skilled workforce, it has never been a better time to invest in the future of this rapidly developing city by the beach.
